He stated that the "Flying Tigers" is a common memory of the people of both China and the United States, and is the foundation of Sino-US friendship. This event is a dialogue across time and space, a deep look back at history, and a solemn commitment to the future. It is hoped that through video review, theme sharing and interactive communication, history and reality will talk to each other, and the "Flying Tigers Spirit" will transcend historical limitations, becoming a bridge for the youth of both countries to understand and trust each other, and to shine with new brilliance in times of peace, inspiring more Sino-US teenagers to inherit friendship and inject the most vibrant power into Sino-US friendship.
President Green reviewed with the teachers, students, and guests present the profound friendship of the two countries 80 years ago, fighting side by side against Japanese aggression. He emphasized that the spirit of the Flying Tigers is still of great practical significance today, and is worth remembering forever and passed on from generation to generation by the people of the two countries. He referred to this unique "special commitment" between the two countries, which was forged by the flames of war, and called on young friends to remember history, carry forward the spirit of the Flying Tigers, and inherit the friendship between China and the United States.
In April 2024, with the active promotion of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association and the China-US Aviation Heritage Foundation, Kunming Foreign Language School, Xiangyun No.2 Middle School of Dali State, and the International Leadership School in Texas, USA, jointly joined the "Flying Tiger Team Friendship School and Youth Leader Program", becoming an important platform for mutual understanding and exchange between Chinese and American teenagers.

They hope to strengthen the ties of friendship and understanding between the Chinese and American peoples through more direct and in-depth exchanges, and to become inheritors of Sino-US friendship.
At the end of the event, all the guests, teachers and students sang "Fellowship Forever" together, preserving the common memories in the moving melody, remembering history, cherishing peace, and expressing the common wish to continue to inherit and carry forward the spirit of the Flying Tigers in the new era.
