On October 19th, Wang Yu, Special Vice President of the Yunnan People's Association for Foreign Friendship, signed a text establishing friendly exchange and cooperative relations in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, on behalf of the Yunnan People's Association for Foreign Friendship and the Japan China友好 Association of Wamyama County, Osaka Prefecture. Yang Gen'ichiro, President of the Public Interest Corporation Japan China友好 Association, attended the signing ceremony.

The two sessions will strive to enhance mutual understanding and friendship among the people of the two countries, especially the younger generation, and carry out exchanges and cooperation in various forms in terms of personnel exchanges, culture, economy and trade, tourism, etc., to consolidate the popular foundation for the sound and stable development of China-Japan relations and inject new impetus.
